A-10 77-0255 was assigned to the 706th Tactical Fighter Squadron (TFS), 926 Tactical Fighter Group, (TFG) New Orleans Air Force Reserve. This aircraft was hit on 5 Feb 1991 by a SAM. Damage included large holes in left wing, left engine, right tail. The wing damage required the right wing to be replaced. Took us only 4.5 days to replace the entire right wing.
