A-10 82-0664 was assigned to the 353rd Tactical Fighter Squadron (TFS), 354th Tactical Fighter Wing (TFW) Myrtle Beach, SC. The aircraft flew 22 missions total and sustained major wing damage on Feb 6, 1991. Capt Paul "PJ" Johnson was able to bring it back where the 2951 CLSS team performed major depot-level repairs in the field, including a center-wing split - complete removal and replacement!
SMSgt Keith, one of our 2951 CLSS members, was reenlisted in front of this aircraft during its repair.
